Position: Policy Advisor

Overview: As a Policy Advisor with Mental Health Victoria, you will provide quality and timely advice and responses to emerging issues in mental health; research, coordinate and prepare reports, policy submissions, policy papers, and other publications; support or lead the coordination of engagement activities including webinars, consultations and events with MHV members and stakeholders; engage with mental health organisations representing a diverse range of stakeholders to inform policy responses; represent Mental Health Victoria on local, state and national committees to advocate on mental health issues.

Mentis Assist

Position:  Community Mental Health Practitioner or Peer Worker, Early Intervention Psychosocial Support Response (EIPSR) program.

Overview:  EIPSR Community Mental Health Practitioners and Peer Workers provide community based outreach to support clients to reach their recovery goals. Our team works closely with Peninsula Health clinical mental health services to provide care coordination.  We also support eligible clients to apply for NDIS plans.

Mentis Assist

Position: Registered Psychologist or Accredited Mental Health Social Worker, Accessible Psychological Interventions (API). .4 EFT

Overview:  The SEMPHN funded  API program delivers accessible psychological interventions to people with low to moderate mental health conditions who are typically hard to reach. This may include people experiencing homelessness, have substance abuse disorders, have experienced family violence, may have self- harm risks, or are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islanders.  Our team comprises a range of clinicians and mental health practitioners working collaboratively to provide the support the target groups to access the care they require.

Mentis Assist

Position:  Mental Health Support Workers – NDIS Core Support.  Casual.

Overview:  Providing innovative, creative and dynamic support to NDIS clients experiencing psychosocial disability to achieve NDIS plan goals.  Access to pool cars, laptops and mobile phones for work purposes as well as learning and development programs.   Opportunity to work towards part time or full time positions.  Workers must have an NDIS Worker Check prior to appointment.
