In partnership with Wodonga TAFE (RTO 3097) MHV is offering a national qualification developed in conjunction with a steering committee of peers and organisations in the mental health field. This is the must-have qualification for peer workers.
Delivered over 18 months via Zoom, one day per month with weekly learning support sessions, the course features a combination of skills and frameworks to implement in the workplace and inform professional development.

With a Senior Trainer (Peer Specialist) on staff, Mental Health Victoria ensures that all content is appropriate to the entire mental health workforce and in most instances is delivered by trainers with a lived experience and a variety of other qualifications.
