Mental Health Victoria champions reform across the mental health and wellbeing sector so that everyone can access the care they need.
Mental Health Victoria Associates (organisations) and Supporters (individuals) include specialist mental health and wellbeing service providers, consumer peaks, carer peaks, community health services, hospitals, professional associations, and allied community service and health providers.
As an Associate or Supporter of Mental Health Victoria, you join a community of sector influencers, becoming part of a collective mission to improve the lives of Victorians experiencing mental-ill health.
From advocacy to networking opportunities and practical training to help your organisation succeed, there are numerous benefits to being an Associate or Supporter of Mental Health Victoria.At present, any organisation that operates within, or intersects with, the mental health system can become an Associate.

Associateship funding allows MHV to provide a range of benefits, including engagements and events. The MHV team is looking forward to providing further benefits this year, including access to more forums and in-person engagements, as well as free webinars and access to free workforce development training.
Please find below the fees for becoming an Associate, during 1 July 2024 to 30 June 2025 financial year based on your mental health budget. If your organisation becomes an Associate after July 1, you will pay a proportional fee.
Mental Health Victoria’s fees operate on a tiered model, implemented under an honesty system, within which we ask each organisation to accurately choose the appropriate tier for them.
This is based on the amount of funding for mental health your organisation allocates per annum. Please advise us of any changes in relation to your mental health budget by contacting mhvic@mhvic.org.au.
Associate fee tiers for the 2024-2025 financial year are as follows*:

Anyone over the age of 18 with an interest in mental health can become a Supporter.
As a Supporter of Mental Health Victoria, your financial contribution will assist us to champion reform across the mental health and wellbeing sector so that everyone can access the care they need.
Supporter fees are as follows*:
Full - $110.00
Concession - $55.00

All supporter subscriptions are based on the financial year and run from month of joining to end of June of that year. If you become an Associate after July 1, you will pay a proportional fee.MHV Ltd is registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC) as a Public Benevolent Institution (PBI). The Australian Taxation Office (ATO) has endorsed MHV as an Income Tax Exempt Charity. As a result, Mental Health Victoria receives income and certain other tax concessions, along with exemptions consistent with its status as a PBI which relate to Goods and Services and Fringe Benefits taxes. MHV is also endorsed by the ATO as a Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR).
